Vergessen is a three-part variation based on a single modeled form. He created three reproductions, which were then “peeled” one after the other to create three new, different sculptures. These different versions allow us to experience the diversity of memories, occurring , for example, during the convivial moment after a funeral, when everyone talks about their own relationship with the deceased, thus presenting a different image of them.
