This work features six heads of young women laughing and singing while talking about their love of life. In Alpine countries, yodeling is a song with a coloratura refrain. This mythological vocalization is sung by women and men, peasants, and shepherds. When we yodel, we move from chest voice to head voice and are joined in chorus by all the voices accompanying us, calling out to the mountain pasture before us: “Can you hear us?”
